trans voices: a recital of songs by gender-diverse composers

  • Trinity College Chapel Trinity College, Broad Street Oxford, England, OX1 3BJ United Kingdom (map)

Barnabas Sharp, baritone | Erin Black, piano

This recital aims to showcase new works for baritone voice by up-and-coming composers who fall under the transgender and non-binary umbrella, a small but growing community who have been severely underrepresented on the topic of classical music in the 21st century. These compositions, in a variety of styles, will be performed by Barnabas Sharp (they/them), a freelance composer and choral scholar at the Choir of Queen's College, Oxford.
